Welcome to our house

I am a mother of two boys. This isn't anything special, just somewhere I can write about how our day went, what we did, and sometimes just how I'm feeling trying to manage two young boys.

July Vacation - The City By The Bay

To help stay cool in he sweltering heat that usually hits during summer in Sacramento, we decided to spend some time in the city.  We headed out to spend some time with Miles and Caleb's godparents and have some fun in San Francisco.  The weather was great, warm with a slight cool breeze.  Tim and I always said that if money was never an issue we'd move to the bay.  I love that you can wear jeans, t-shirt, and a light jacket in the middle of summer.  We picked up Uncle Yeng in Alameda and went to meet up with Auntie Janice for lunch.  Too bad she had to work and had to return to work for the remainder of the day.

 Waiting for our food

 MMM....yummy...

 I'm all done..

Caleb waiting for all of us to finish eating

 Uncle Yeng and Auntie Janice

Miles wanted to finish daddy's undon

After lunch we hung out at the park....where we then noticed the food trucks.  I think Auntie Janice was holding out on us....ha ha ha.  Miles had a blast playing at the park as they had a train to climb on.

Chasing the birds around.  Miles loved doing this and
probably would have done this all afternoon if I had let him.

We thought since Miles LOVES trains that he would enjoy riding the cable cars around town, so we got ourselves some tickets for the cable cars and sat and enjoyed the views of the city.  It was hard at first though since the cable cars get filled up so quickly when we transferred from one line to another we had to wait for three cable cars to pass before we could board.  He was sooooo devastated each time one came to the stop and he couldn't get on.   Once on though he had a blast.  We end took the cable car down to fisherman's wharf.
getting mad because he was being told he had to wait to get on

We even had enough time to drive down Lombard Street.  It was beautiful as always.
