Welcome to our house

I am a mother of two boys. This isn't anything special, just somewhere I can write about how our day went, what we did, and sometimes just how I'm feeling trying to manage two young boys.

July Vacation - Jelly Belly Factory

We had previously taken a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory before with Miles but I'm not sure that he really remembers it.  We thought he might enjoy it more now so made a stop along our trip to see the factory tour.  They are free and full of candy treats along the way.  The first time we went on this tour it was a weekend and so it was packed and the factory was actually not running.  This time as we went on a week day, we got to see the workers in the process of making the jelly belly jelly beans.  Miles loved seeing all the machines move and go about "working" as he put it.  And of course, he loved that you got to taste jelly beans along the way.

yes all those going on the tour are required to wear a hat

 Miles loved this candy dispenser:
1) because it has a dump truck, 2) it gives you jelly beans, & 3) because it's a dump truck

 Enjoying jelly beans

We all enjoyed seeing how the jelly beans were made.  Miles still talks about it and asks if he can go back to the "factory candy" every day.  I have to tell him maybe on another day but I can give him a little treat from the factory so I give him a few jelly beans and this seems to appease him for now.
